 Anime Expo Chibi, a spin-off smaller, two-day event from AX proper, took place for the first time this past weekend at the Ontario Convention Center (the former home for Anime Los Angeles), and while the event definitely had some first year setbacks, it ran mostly without a hitch and has lots of room for improvement. Also, being an AX branded event, there were a lot of attendees present and several great cosplayers as well. As usual A-to-J Connections was there to capture some of the awesome cosplays we spotted on Friday, Day Two, and we present the gallery below! This year saw it move to the San Gabriel Sheraton and the event was a lot of fun despite the usual hiccups that come with being a con returning after several years. The con actually featured several cosplay guests, as well as several cosplaying attendees, and below you'll find a gallery of some of the awesome cosplayers we spotted on Sunday, Day Three, as well as some other cool things! All photos by Ivan Aburto  Ronin Expo has been a favorite convention of ours since its debut and it's had a shaky return this year as the original date and venue had to be changed earlier in the year. This didn't phase the con much as they were able to regroup and move the convention to the summer (last weekend to be exact!) and still keep it within the Little Tokyo area. Seeing as this is a one-day event, things moved really quickly but that doesn't mean that there wasn't a lot to see and do. Here is a gallery of the event, mainly some of the awesome cosplayers we saw, and we hope to share more smaller events like Ronin Expo in the future! All photos by Ivan Aburto  Crunchyroll Expo returned to the San Jose Convention Center this past weekend and it was a completely sold out event full of fun panels, premieres, music, and more! It was a great weekend and this relatively new convention only gets bigger and better every year. It's great seeing cons return again in full force this summer, and where there is a big convention there will be lots of cosplay!
