The F. A. Podcast seems to happen only randomly these days but we promise that we're going to return to a normal enough schedule soon! Until then this is the final episode of 2021 and it features Photaku Network! This was going to be a Ecchi-mas episode tbh but there isn't a whole lot to talk about regarding that so we filled in some of the spare bits with the usual amount of randomness but Photaku is so on point with most of his commentary that it honestly feels that we had 4-5 well-thought out topics to cover at times! Real fast we have to talk a bit about the audio on this one. We didn't realize live that our audio levels were off with Jeeves being noticeably louder than Manuel and Josh and no matter how hard we tried to fix the audio in post, this is the best we have. So we apologize for that too and hope you at least find it listenable. Back to the topics though, we covered a lot of radnom stuff and started the show's main topics with an impromptu review of Netflix's Cowboy Bebop live action adaptation which at the time of recording had been recently cancelled. Given how a lot of anime fans were upset on things like Faye's lack of fan service it could have been tied in more directly but we took a more general review look at it. We covered a few other quicker topics and then had a long discussion on Shibuya Kaho, Hentai Con, and all sorts of other related topics. It was a nice way to close the year, the show, and though we didn't know it at the time, the entire year of A-to-J streams. We hope that you've enjoyed the somewhat shaky year of FAPodcast episodes and that this experiment becomes more steady in 2022! The F. A. Podcast is back again and we had a longer than intended break to recharge our batteries this time around! We originally were only going to take off the month of September as things we ramping up for all the hosts but that spread into October as all the other themed streams ate up enough time that getting FAP back on track was an afterthought. So, here we are back since some time in August! Being as we are lowkey starting again from scratch, we didn't have the strongest of topics to cover. We did have Kyuu on and we did have ideas that we wanted to talk about the origins and other nonsense surrounding "No Nut November" (which we did) and then move into talking in depth about eroge and Chinese danmei/yaoi (which we... sorta didn't). We may not have covered all that we wanted to but we had a lot of fun and Jordan did a genderbent sketch of the main characters of Mo Dao Zu Shi as the drawing of the night so there's that too! Besides attempting to cover the main topics (which mainly involved discussing the game "No Thank You!" and explaining the term "gei" to Jordan) we went more random than usual and talked a lot about upcoming conventions and past con partying that we were all involved in. Maybe not the most on point of our shows, but we plan to come back around to stronger themed episodes from here on. What's somewhat sad though is that we're not really going to announce a new steady schedule as we are a bi-weekly show anyway and we DO have the holidays coming up so we're going to be missing some shows here and there, but we WILL be back to normal schedule all that nonsense aside. Hopefully you'll check us out again and we can get back to all our normal ecchi-cational goodness! The F. A. Podcast is back, but we immediately announced a six-week hiatus to let Jordan take care of another project. There was some other scheduling issues but this meant a lot of Fridays off... which never happened as some ill-fated "Drink Talk Roll" streams were lined up instead. Looking back on this very late upload (which was delayed due to a mix of corrupt files, mis-recorded audio, and sheer laziness) it's fun to note that our big topic of the night, that of OnlyFans changes to leave behind adult content, was reversed days after this show. Thankfully we spent at least half of this long episode with completely random storytime and talking about an old obsession to find horror-themed pron content that lead to a movie known as "Orgy of The Dead". The art was great though and the talk was fun so check it out as this episode was one that took a while to get going both when it happened and for this upload. The F.A. Podcast WILL be back to its normal bi-weekly schedule soon, and even though it's had a very shaky first year, we're determined to see 2021 out with some fun episodes full of Jordan's great art! Hopefully the future uploads won't be a month from the actual stream, but we're moving into the Spoopy Month so keep those eyes open! The F. A. Podcast is back on schedule and we had a rather random episode. We went into this one knowing that we'd do an "improv" type episode where we literally had no particular idea what we wanted to talk about, just that we wanted to talk about SOMETHING. Badman joined us for the first time (surprising when you really think about it tbh) and this was a very random episode that featured far more storytime bits than usual. That said, it was also one of the longest episodes yet so who knows if this format is a better go than fully planned out. There was a bit of form to this one though and we continued our talk about fetishes, scat, and a LOT more on "2 Girls 1 Cup" than last week, where we just touched briefly on it. Basically this episode is split into two halves: The scat/fetish half, and the con party storytime in the second half. That second half means that it's questionable whether all the topics covered were "FAPodcast-worthy" but we think so as we DID start out talking con orgies and kept the stories mainly referring to 18+ panel stuff and partying. It was quite random and all over the place though so it might be the kind of the thing you just have to leave on in the background and go at the whole thing. Also, we DID talk a lot about "Go Go Nippon" and how we're getting VTubers based on the game and the art on this one was AMAZING! The F. A. Podcast is back after a long break (that's what happens when you cancel a show that only happens every other week!) and we returned with the topic that we were going to cover when we last left off, fetishes with a heavy emphasis on the explosion of feet fetishes everywhere. We had been talking about having Weston back on for a "three-peat" and we went with that rather than looking for a new co-host for the rescheduling so it was interesting having a semblance of normalcy in the crew that hasn't really been around since Snakz left. That said, we covered all sorts of fetishes briefly, and feet fetishes HEAVILY. There were a lot of storytime-esque segments and the conversation went a little all over the place here and there this time around. There wasn't a lot in other content throughout the show but we did toss a manga rec, some Hitomi Tanaka, and an eroge rec before we wrapped up. Along the way we also talked about the craziness that was going on with Hentai Fest at Anime Matsuri and the very fake email that circulated, but was still odd in and of itself. A tight, cool show with only a bit of deviation and some really cool art all around. The F. A. Podcast is back again and before we dive into the description proper let's reiterate that although we stopped using cameras for the podcast (not all of us used them even when we did) we plan to do something else for the visual component of the show and until then you'll have to accept Jordan's art only! This episode was written very early on in the week and we had a surprising amount to talk about in the main body of the show to the point where we actually skipped over a couple of the segments we had planned to cover in light of time. One thing we didn't plan to talk about in the outline was Dr. Ruth as that entire topic stemmed from a casual conversation prior to the podcast. That said we did plan to talk about ecchi/adult themed content online, with a slight focus on hot tub streams as they're really in right now, and Dr. Ruth got kind of mixed into all that to the point that this week's drawing is Young Dr. Ruth in a Hot Tub! We also talked a lot about the Anime Man and other similar streamers as well as content similar to the FAPodcast and how that all fits into the internet at large. Elsewhere we didn't get to all the segments but we did talk a bit about our relationship advice bit and we covered Katawa Shoujo even though that wasn't our original eroge pick for this week. Lots of randomness fills this one and it was refreshing to have such a simple, flowing episode after a bit of stumbles lately so take a listen and let us know what you think! [Note: The uneven audio at the beginning of the show is mostly fixed a few minutes in. We apologize for the errors] The F. A. Podcast is back!!! (?) Yeah, we skipped a week again, but it turned out to have worked out in a lot of different ways as we've moved back to the "original" week and we also skipped a day that we couldn't schedule a show in the near future anyway. We've been talking about doing a "Relationship Advice" type show for a while now. Basically a take on something we did on our sister podcast, UPZ, but with a focus on relationships specifically and maybe with a bit less jokes. We spent about half the show taking a look at some of the (then) recent posts at r/relationshipadvice and we had a lot of fun and we're probably going to make this a regular segment on the show going forward from here on. Elsewhere we talked about Kaho Shibuya, Moemon, and some ecchi manga based on some of our favorite video games. We didn't get to everything we wanted as we started a little late and we kind of got ahead of the drawing (which the show IS based around) but this was a very packed show in a format that we haven't properly done since Snakz left the regular shows. We think that we're back on track here though and the show can only get better as we finally break past the ten episode mark. Also, we've been working on a new format for the on-screen part of this show so bear with us on this transition as we didn't have any camera footage on this particular episode. The F. A. Podcast is back to a normal-ish schedule (though we did move to the former "off week") and we had an episode that we had talked about having since we first started the show: An episode dedicated entirely to "Metamorphosis". We'd also been talking about having Pleiades on when we did this so it all kind of tied itself together this week in an episode that also saw us start at an earlier time than usual (six versus seven). This was a lot of fun and it was interesting to mostly discuss just one topic throughout the show and opens things up for potentially tackling other popular titles like "Bible Black". That said we probably bit off a bit more than we could chew, especially with Pleiades on, as we spent a bit too much examining the beginning of the manga in the first half and were forced to rush things slightly at the end. That said we did manage to get to most of the things we wanted to talk about, but perhaps we shouldn't have spent the first thirty minutes of the livestream (cut out for YouTube) continuing our arguments on VR. We were mostly on topic though and you won't find as many random asides in this one, which is probably for the best. The F. A. Podcast took an accidental week off but it turned out to be a very popular stream nonetheless. Now that we're back I guess we're now on the former "off week" as we're still a bi-weekly show. Anyhow, we've been trying to do an eroguro episode with Danny (who is one of the people Manuel does the Eroguro panels at conventions with) for a couple months and finally the schedules lined up so we could do it. Since we're about the time we'd be doing this panel at Fanime if we weren't in a pandemic, we decided to basically do a notes version of our panel and not cover all the usual segments and stuff that we usually do in the podcast. We do plan to return to the normal format starting next week, just that this one came together rather quickly (and randomly) so there wasn't exactly the longest lead time to get a fully outlined show ready to go. That said we covered a LOT in this one and the art was quite intense this time around. It did make writing an outline a little difficult, but from here on we plan to do things a LITTLE more by the book. Eroguro lends well to keeping things fast and loose though so watch and enjoy and let us know what you think! The F. A. Podcast had a very shaky week. Last time we had an episode, our furry one btw, we mentioned that Snakz would be leaving the show for the foreseeable future and that created some problems as he was also the one who was doing the live hosting. With this is mind there were going to be changes no matter what but these were complicated by the normal scheduling nonsense that saw our topic/guest host for the week bounce before we'd even sorted out the new hosting challenges. We actually DID get all that sorted out in the middle of the week but did not have a show written so even though we started this one with the idea of "Good Friday Nonsense" and "Gay/BL/Yaoi Stuff But More Organized Than The Yoro Episode" with Yuji joining us admirably at the eleventh hour, we didn't really have any real form to this one and talked all over the place about the previously mentioned topics, our first experiences with porn, the usual round of convention nonsense, and LOTS of stuff that barely even qualified to be discussed in a FA Podcast episode. With that in mind, I think the survival of the show was the main focus this week and we definitely did that along with our new friendo, the Yaoi Easter Bunny!
